Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park - River Terrace park booking sites
The upper section of Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park (off River Terrace) has three park boking sites available for bookings for special events of short duration.
To book one of these sites for a special event, follow these steps:
- Consider the park location and facilities and view our virtual tours of the booking sites. Does one of the booking sites at this park meet your needs? If so, go to Step 2. If not, view our other park booking sites.
- Complete the online park booking application form, noting Council's standard booking conditions.
Park location
The upper section of Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park is located at 461 Main Street, Kangaroo Point, at the intersection with River Terrace.

Park facilities
The upper section of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs Park (River Terrace) includes the following facilities (some of which are shown on the site plan below):
- barbecues
- bookings sites
- cafe
- picnic tables
- playground
- public art
- shelter
- toilets
- viewing platforms.
No vehicle access is permitted in the park.
Bookings sites
There are three park booking sites for park bookings in the River Terrace section of the park.

Park bookings
Bookings only apply to the park booking site you choose in the park and to the use of any facilities in that booking site. You cannot book barbecues, shelters (other than rotundas marked) or playgrounds for your specific use, though your group is free to share these facilities with other park visitors. Power points may have different phases (i.e. operate on different voltages), so it is advisable to check your electronic equipment's compatibility before your event.
In some parks, as well as the booking site/s, there may be some alternative bookable areas of the park. Please submit an application and you will be contacted regarding the suitability of the park for the event, availability and fees.
