    Spring Hill Common

    construction starting mid September 2023, Expected delivery mid-2024

    Spring Hill Common will provide the local community with a relaxed parkland setting and lifestyle destination in Brisbane's inner city. The area will feature tiered stepped seating and a flat outdoor space for activities, community gatherings and picnicking.

    QUT Kelvin Grove busway entrance

    construction starting early october 2023, EXPECTED dELIVERY LATE 2023

    Council is providing a new access into the park direct from the QUT Kelvin Grove busway station. The new entrance will provide direct access to the park from the busway station platform, making it even easier to get to the park. Hop off the bus and walk straight into the park. Direct access is also available from the Herston busway station.

    Urban pump track

    construction starting early october 2023, expected delivery late-2024

    The urban pump track is designed to take advantage of the park’s natural topography and offer a track for beginner and intermediate riders. It will include small skateable features, along with picnic shelters and seating making it a new destination for families in the inner city.

    Adventure playground

    Adventure playground

    The adventure playground will be a nature-based destination playground that shares stories of Country – of the seasons, animals, plants and more.  It will be an inclusive space and accessible playground for people of all abilities.

    Park furniture and shelters

    More than 50 new pieces of furniture have been installed across the park. These include park benches, picnic tables, barbeques, drinking fountains, bike racks and shelters.

    Furniture and shelters have been positioned in shady spots for respite or locations that take advantage of spectacular city or park views.

      The new entrance provides direct access to the park from the Herston Grove busway station platform, making it even easier to get to the park along the Inner Northern Busway.
