Find out what you can do at Victoria Park / Barrambin. Learn about the future of the parkland.

Victoria Park / Barrambin is an impressive parkland located just 2 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD.

When visiting, you’ll find an urban pump track, picnic spots and an off-leash dog area. Planning is also underway for 2 new venues for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games (the Games).

The future of the parkland

Victoria Park / Barrambin has been identified as the future home of the new Brisbane Stadium and National Aquatic Centre. These venues will bring long-lasting benefits to Queensland beyond the Games.

These two new venues are being delivered by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA).

On 1 June 2026, parts of the Herston side of Victoria Park / Barrambin will be transferred to GIICA for the construction and delivery of these venues.

You can view a map showing areas closed to the public. All areas outside the construction fencing remain available for community use.
