Parking in Brisbane

February 2022 severe weather event impacts

Council has now resumed normal processing and response to all reported compliance issues, except illegal parking. 

Parking patrols have recommenced with a focus on bus, taxi, mail and loading zones, as well as yellow lines and clearways to ensure parking availability for important economic recovery functions including restocking of business, mail delivery, public and private transport operations, and safety of motorists.

Removed parking meters - February 2022 weather event

Due to weather damage, some parking meters have been removed. Mobile payments will only be accepted in these parking spaces using CellOPark.

Please be aware that if you do not pay for parking or if you overstay the time limit, you may receive an infringement notice.
