Indooroopilly Safer School Precinct

Council is investigating improvements to the transport infrastructure in the Indooroopilly Safer School Precinct to ease congestion and improve safety for everyone who lives, learns, works and visits the local area.

Council is creating Safer School Precincts in suburbs across Brisbane. The program will improve safety and make it easier to move around schools and local streets.

Indooroopilly has been identified as the fourth precinct in this transport safety program. It will support the following schools and surrounding local community:

  • Indooroopilly State High School
  • St Peter's Lutheran College
  • Brigidine College.

Community consultation is scheduled for early 2026.
