Council is improving transport infrastructure in the Indooroopilly Safer School Precinct to ease congestion and improve safety for everyone who lives, learns, works and visits the local area.

Council is creating Safer School Precincts in our suburbs to provide easier and safer ways for everyone to move around our schools and local streets.

Indooroopilly has been identified as the fourth precinct for this transport safety program and will support the following schools and surrounding local community:

  • Indooroopilly State High School
  • St Peter's Lutheran College
  • Holy Family Primary School
  • Brigidine College.

Community consultation is scheduled for early 2026.
