Brisbane City Council has approximately 1700 motorised assets and 300 non-motorised assets in its vehicle fleet. To effectively track and manage these assets, Council needs to enable the following capabilities:
• Real-time tracking of mobile assets including visibility of asset locations, and
• Monitoring of vehicle systems, such as engine hours, battery levels, etc.

Council will be seeking proposals from suppliers to establish a Corporate Procurement Standing Offer Arrangement (CPA) to supply and deliver hardware for Council’s Traffic Signal and Lighting networks. The hardware will include Traffic Lanterns and Pedestrian Timers and Poles/pits/lids for both lighting and Traffic Signals.
The aim is to supply and maintain a safe and secure environment for Traffic on Roads and Paths as well as address QLD TMR MUTCD and legislative requirements. Other road furniture such as guardrails is being considered for inclusion and suppliers are able to offer additional road furniture/traffic control equipment for inclusion in the CPA.
