Construction Waste Disposal, Material Storage and Supply and Contaminated and Regulated Waste Disposal

Council is inviting applications for pre-qualified suppliers to join our register for any of the following categories under the Construction Waste Disposal, Material Storage and Supply and Contaminated and Regulated Waste Disposal Contract:

•    Category 1 – Construction Waste Disposal
•    Category 2 – Construction Material Storage
•    Category 3 – Construction Material Supply

Construction and Rehabilitation of Transport and Drainage Infrastructure

Council has a panel arrangement for Construction and Rehabilitation of Transport and Drainage Infrastructure Contract (the panel), which has a number of different segments that are listed below. Council is currently interested in receiving applications for sub-segments 3D & 3E, 4A & 4B and 5B & 5C of the panel.

Segment 1: Road and Bridge Construction and Rehabilitation – Major

  • 1A – Road construction and upgrades
  • 1B – Vehicular bridge construction

Segment 2: Bikeway Construction, Programs of Works and Environmental Work – Major

  • 2A – Major bikeway and footpath construction
  • 2B – Civil work involving significant environmental management or ground decontamination (e.g. asbestos removal)
  • 2C – Programs of minor civil projects
  • 2D – Bridge and major culvert construction.

Segment 3: Transport and Civil Infrastructure Construction and Repair – Minor

  • 3A – Road construction
  • 3B – Piling (all types) estimated at less than $2 million
  • 3C – Minor asphalt repairs (potholes and patching) estimated at less than $100,000
  • 3D – Specialised concreting (plinths, stairways and cast in-situ traffic islands)
  • 3E – Retaining wall construction and restoration.

Segment 4: Drainage Infrastructure – Minor

  • 4A – Waterway bank stabilisation and access structures
  • 4B – Barge-based minor works
  • 4C – Open channel civil drainage works
  • 4D – Concrete drainage structures (pipes, manholes, gully pits and chambers).

Segment 5: Underground Infrastructure – Minor

  • 5A – Electrical and communications pit and conduit installation
  • 5B – Trenchless pipe installation (micro-tunnelling, pipe jacking and directional drilling)
  • 5C – Pipe repair and relining.

Brisbane City Council’s Library Services (BCCLS) offers a large and diverse collection of library materials as an integral part of the delivery of a modern public library experience online and at multiple branches located throughout the city. Council obtains the supply of physical and digital library materials, the maintenance of digital content lending services and delivery of shelf-ready library materials under this arrangement.

The Library Collections and Services arrangement is separated into four categories:

Specialist materials including Languages Other than English (LOTE), audiobooks, large print etc.

This panel is used to provide HR Consulting Services to Council's Human Resources Branch (HRB) and other divisions across Council and covers the following categories: 
1. HR Projects - (consulting, project management and delivery of services and outcomes in the HR category) - including individual, group, team and organisational levels.
2. Learning, Development and Performance Improvement - executive development, leadership development, team and group development, online learning, training needs analysis, leadership and development planning, facilitation services, Leadership Forums – Content Design and Session/Key Note Facilitation and training services.
3. Category 3 – Industrial Relations, Remuneration Services And Workplace Investigations
This includes external assistance for the delivery of critical advice on any areas of industrial disputes, managing advice for projects that have industrial relations considerations.
Industrial relations advice specific to Council projects. May also require representation in industrial tribunals on disputes, unfair dismissals and other matters. Remuneration services to assist with salary benchmarking comparing Council’s arrangements to the external market, in order to enable Council to attract & retain talent.
4. Psychological Assessment - This category is for recognised, credible and defensible peer-reviewed empirical evidence-based tests and assessments which demonstrate suitable levels of validity and reliability.
5. Coaching, Mentoring, Professional Supervision - This category is for performance coaching, developmental coaching, individual and group coaching, executive coaching, external mentoring and change management coaching.
