Flood Resilient Suburbs - Business Resilience Program

The Flood Resilient Suburbs - Business Resilience Program was developed by Brisbane City Council and delivered by Brisbane Sustainability Agency, and Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) in collaboration with PwC. The program is now closed.

The program was designed to help businesses or business property owners to prepare for and recover from overland flow and creek flooding, and consisted of two services:

Business flood continuity planning

Delivered by BEDA in collaboration with PwC, the business flood continuity planning provided businesses or business property owners with a tailored plan that can be used to prepare, respond and recover from future flood events.

Business flood resilience assessment

Delivered by Brisbane Sustainability Agency, business flood resilience assessments provided businesses or business property owners with a tailored on-site assessment and report of physical changes and resilience actions that could be considered to minimise the impact of flooding on the business premises.
