Simultaneous livesteam at Roma Street Parkland
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be live streamed by Channel 9 from Riverstage into Roma Street Parkland, allowing more visitors to share in the magic of this event.
Purchase a selection of sweet and savoury snacks from food trucks or pack a picnic basket and blanket and round up your family and friends for a night of Christmas singing and celebration under a starry Brisbane summer sky.
This event will feature pre-show entertainment, food trucks and a whole lot of family-friendly fun.

Entry to this event will be via Gates 1 and 2.
You must have your tickets ready to be scanned on entry. If you do not have a valid ticket, you will not be permitted to enter Riverstage.

- chips, biscuits, crackers in soft packaging (no bigger than an A4 piece of paper)

Deaf and hard of hearing accessibility
The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will be Auslan interpreted. Additionally, all lyrics will be captioned on-screen.
There is a special area reserved for those requiring Auslan interpretation and their families. To book into this area, select the Auslan Area ticket type when purchasing your tickets via Ticketmaster. If purchasing multiple tickets and you wish to all sit together, you will need to ensure all tickets purchased are Auslan Area tickets. Only those with Auslan Area tickets will have access to this area.
Limited haptic vests to feel the music and vibrating wrist bands will be available at the event.
Blind and low vision accessibility

Roma Street Parkland
Roma Street Parkland features a natural amphitheatre with tiered seating, providing great views for everyone.
If you plan to bring your own chair, we'd ask you to be mindful of sightlines so all visitors can enjoy the experience.
How to get there
Entry to the event is via the Wickham Terrace at Roma Street Parkland. The Amphitheatre is accessible via paved paths, though some areas include gentle slopes.
You're encouraged to travel to this event by walking, cycling, or public transport.
Roma Street Parkland is just a short walk from Roma Street Station, serviced by trains and buses from across Brisbane.
Nearby bus stops also provide easy connections from around the city.

Parking at Roma Street Parkland is limited.
On-site parking is available off College Close, with additional metered spaces and disabled bays throughout the park.
King George Square Car Park and Cornerstone Parking on Parkland Boulevard are nearby car park alternatives.
If walking longer distances is difficult, organise to be dropped off:
- along Wickham Terrrace
- near The Garden Room
- near Celebration Vista.
The nearest taxi rank is at the Brisbane Coach Terminal.
Drivers can also drop off and pick up passengers on Parkland Boulevard, accessible via Wickham Terrace or Roma Street.
Use the Normanby Cycleway Link to ride all the way along Parkland Boulevard and then out onto Roma Street.
Once you’re in the Parkland, all pathways and roads are shared with pedestrians. Use caution when cycling.
