Types of graffiti you can report
Graffiti is an act of vandalism and can negatively impact the amenity of an area.
Council encourages you to report graffiti in public spaces around Brisbane.
Types of issues you can report include graffiti:
- on Council-owned property
- in the community that is unmanaged or offensive
- that has been on a property for a while
- on a property with an unknown owner.
If you see graffiti on Telstra, Translink, Queensland Rail or Department of Main Roads property, report it to them directly.
You can also request to pick up a graffiti removal kit to remove graffiti from your own private property or business.
Provide issue details such as:
- the type of property you’re reporting graffiti on (public or private)
- photos of the graffiti (optional).
Provide the location including the street, suburb and postcode, or any other information to help locate the graffiti.

You can get a graffiti removal kit from your local ward office or Council Customer Centre (North and South centres only). Take proof of residency with you, such as your driver’s licence.
