Glindemann Park improvements project
Brisbane City Council is creating more to see and do in our suburbs by undertaking the Glindemann Park improvements project. Council has identified opportunities for improved recreation and play ideas for the park.
Project benefits
The Glindemann Park improvements plan outlines proposed improvements such as installing a new multi-use track, upgrading the playgrounds and adding new pathway connections.
The improvements project proposes to:
- replace the skate bowl and create a new multi-use track with potential skateable elements
- upgrade park equipment, including playground, seating and shelters
- formalise a new accessible connection across the park between play features and the existing facilities.

Council is committed to protecting the natural heritage values of the area, and the proposed works in the improvements plan will not have a negative impact on the existing parkland area or require Council to remove any existing trees.
Have your say
Council has now closed community consultation and would like to thank everyone who participated and provided their input into the project.
Council will now consider feedback received during the engagement period, along with further technical investigations, to help prepare the Glindeman Park improvements - final site plan will be released late in 2023
