Victoria Park / Barrambin

Victoria Park / Barrambin has been identified as the future home of the new Brisbane Stadium and National Aquatic Centre. These venues will bring long-lasting benefits to Queensland beyond the Games.

These two new venues are being delivered by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority (GIICA).

On 1 June 2026, parts of the Herston side of Victoria Park / Barrambin were transferred to GIICA for the construction and delivery of these venues. For more information, visit GIICA.
