Nudgee Recreation Reserve improvement project - Nudgee

Brisbane City Council is pleased to advise that construction works are now complete at Nudgee Recreation Reserve with the clubhouse and public toilets now open.

Improvements to the reserve deliver much-needed sporting and recreation facilities to Brisbane’s northern suburbs and will help meet the future needs of the growing population in the area.

Project details

Project works included:

  • shared use sporting fields that will cater to multiple sports including touch football, cricket and soccer, and includes sports field lighting to improve night-time visibility and safety for park users
  • a new 223-space car park and pathway connections to Nudgee Train Station and Railway Street for easy access
  • a dog off leash area
  • BMX track
  • playground, picnic settings with shelters and barbeque facility
  • walking/running/cycling path.

The recently opened clubhouse includes change rooms, meeting rooms, storage and public toilets.
