Traffic CCTV

Brisbane City Council owns and operates a Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) network to support traffic management across the city.

Council uses the CCTV network to monitor the road network and assist in incident management by the Traffic Management Centre and undertake road network improvements.

These cameras are mostly located within the road corridor and can often be seen at signalised intersections.

There is also a separate process for requesting footage from Council’s City Safe CCTV cameras that operate in and around the Queen Street and Fortitude Valley Malls.
