Indigenous Art Program Request for Proposal (RFP)
Brisbane City Council is seeking proposals for one producer, curator, or cultural organisation to develop, program, and deliver the Indigenous Art Program for 2021-23.
The successful applicant will present a three-month annual program that celebrates Indigenous culture, heritage and community.
Since 2016, the Indigenous Art Program (formerly Maiwar) has offered audiences in-depth learning and engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and contemporary art practices. The Indigenous Art Program transforms Brisbane's streets and laneways into an outdoor contemporary exhibition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks from 1 May to 31 July each year.
