Rebound walls in parks

Tennis

More than 30 Brisbane City Council parks have rebound walls. Walls are mostly suitable for tennis hit-up practice; others for soccer and handball. A number of rebound walls are part of flexibile multi-use, park activity spaces, which may also include basketball/netball facilities. Most rebound walls are constructed of smooth concrete and have joining or adjacent pavements or grass courts/areas.

Rebound walls are great facilities to practice your ball skills alone or with others - all you need is a ball and a racquet (if you're using the wall for tennis stroke practice).

The personal safety of Brisbane residents and visitors is our top priority. Due to coronavirus, some of our events, facilities, services and venues may have been impacted.

Council’s park barbecues, basketball and netball facilities, BMX tracks, dog off-leash areas (fenced dog parks), exercise equipment (outdoor gyms), multi-use games arenas, playgrounds, rebound walls, skate parks, table tennis facilities and tennis courts are temporarily closed until further notice.

Check our Coronavirus: Council updates and impacts page for latest updates, cancelled events and venue closures. Protect yourself and others by practicing social distancing in our parks.
