What you need to provide
1 Exemption or rebate reason

To apply for the Rate Account and Services Establishment Fee exemption, you must meet the eligibility criteria. You’ll need to provide a reason and supporting documents, if requested.

Not‑for‑profit organisations applying for the Partial Rate Rebate Scheme must provide evidence outlined in the eligibility criteria, including their:

  • ABN / Deductible Gift Recipient status / Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission status / Income tax exempt charity endorsement
  • description of services
  • description of property usage.
2 Property details

Provide details of the property, including the:

  • rate account number
  • address of the property, including:
    • street number and name
    • suburb
    • postcode.
3 Contact details

You must provide contact details, such as:

  • name
  • phone number
  • email address
  • postal address (if different to the property details provided).
