Bridgeman Downs Neighbourhood Plan

Brisbane City Council has adopted the new Bridgeman Downs Neighbourhood Plan to guide future development and coordinate land use and infrastructure over a 10-year period and beyond.

Council worked with residents and businesses to meet community priorities and ensure the area continued to look familiar, while we planned for the needs of existing and future communities.

Project status

Following community consultation in early 2022 and an analysis of submissions, Council reviewed the draft plan and sent the revised neighbourhood plan to the Queensland Government for Minister’s consideration.

Council adopted the Bridgeman Downs Neighbourhood Plan on 13 June 2023. The new neighbourhood plan took effect on 1 September 2023 in Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan).
