National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Each year, a picture book written and illustrated by Australian authors and illustrators is selected to be read simultaneously in libraries, schools, homes and children’s facilities all over the country and the world!
Now in its 24th year, this colourful, vibrant and fun event aims to promote the value of reading and literacy among some of our youngest readers.
Dress in your favourite shades of blue and join our librarians as they read this year’s book, Bowerbird Blues by Aura Parker.Ideal for children aged 3-5 years and their caregivers.
