Celebrate National Bat week and Bat Appreciation Day with a guided walk and talk to visit some of the resident winged wildlife heroes. Learn about our quiet and not-so-quiet achievers and what makes all bats ecological powerhouses! There will be giveaway take-home crafts for children and ways all can help their struggle to survive.
Suitable for families. Groups welcome. Less than 1 km on easy walking paths.
Requirements: Children must be aged four years or older and accompanied by an adult booked into the walk.
Please wear secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, and sun protective clothing. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, drinking water, and any food you require as there are no food outlets on site.
Note: Activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
