Observe an experienced researcher from the Genealogical Society Queensland in action as they show you how to start tracing a family tree. Using the first mayor of Brisbane Municipal Council - John Petrie - as a 19th Century example, you will learn how to use records of shipping, births, deaths, marriages, occupations and land, as well as books and newspapers.
