Picnic in a park

There is no shortage of parks to explore throughout Ascot and Albion.

Grab your fur friend and head to Crosby Park to make the most of the dog off-leash area as you take in the spectacular surrounding views. For the little ones, there's a shaded playground with swings, climbing features and even a seesaw.

Running along Breakfast Creek, the beautiful Yowoggera Park is the perfect spot to have a waterfront picnic with a fresh salad from Botanica Real Food and a chewy chocolate and caramel brownie from Jocelyn's Provisions.

Live, laugh and learn at the library

The heritage-listed Hamilton Town Hall on Racecourse Road is home to Hamilton Library. Borrow books, enjoy storytime with the kids, or learn more about gardening - all for free!

A day at the races

In a suburb dominated by the city's two most famous racecourses, you'd be remiss not to have a day out at Eagle Farm or Doomben Racecourses.

Grab your mates, don your fascinators, and head to the races, whether its for the annual Spring Racing Carnival or one of the free Wednesday Racedays. Eagle Farm is the perfect place to spend a day.
