Meet at the Bandstand Lawn, Brisbane tha Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha.
Grab an Eat Like the Bard picnic basket or some Tudor nibbles to go, a blanket and the family - and score a soft spot on the Bandstand's grassy lawn to enjoy listening to the Indooroopilly Chamber Orchestra as they perform musical pieces that will take you back to the Elizabethan Era.
Highlights include a horn call, excerpts from Delibe’s 'Le Roi S’Amuse’, selections of Handel’s 'Acis and Galatea’ with vocal soloists, and music by Thomas Arne written to accompany Shakespeare’s plays.
Children under 16 are to be accompanied by an adult.
