Changed traffic conditions and weekend closures of Buranda busway station will be in place on O’Keefe Street, Woolloongabba from Friday 8 September to late-September as part of the continued delivery of Brisbane Metro.
Temporary road closures and bus stop relocations are planned to occur from:
- 9pm Friday 8 September to 5am Monday 11 September 2023
- 9pm Friday 15 September to 5am Monday 18 September 2023
- 9pm Friday 22 September to 5am Monday 25 September 2023
Buranda busway station will be closed, and temporary bus stops will be located on O'Keefe Street.
O’Keefe Street will be closed to general traffic from 8pm each Friday, between Carl Street and Logan Road. Access will be maintained for local traffic, emergency services and buses.
Diversions will be in place.
To minimise disruptions to the public transport and road networks, these works are being delivered continuously over impacted weekends, and outside peak commuter periods.
