Council has undertaken research in the Centenary suburbs to understand the community's experiences and views using public transport, specifically bus services within Seventeen Mile Rocks, Sinnamon Park, Jindalee, Mount Ommaney, Jamboree Heights, Riverhills, Middle Park, Sumner, Westlake and Darra.

The CityGlider buses provide fast transport from West End to Teneriffe and from Ashgrove to Stones Corner, with regular services during peak and off-peak times.

Council has proudly operated the city’s buses for more than 90 years. Starting with just 11 buses to our current fleet of more than 1200 buses, we are proud of our bus history.

CityCat, SpeedyCat, CityHopper and Cross River CityFerry terminals are located along the Brisbane River between UQ St Lucia and Northshore Hamilton. Check the map to find your nearest terminal.

The free City Loop and Spring Hill Loop bus services provide high frequency public transport access within the Brisbane Central Business District (CBD). Services also run between the CBD and Spring Hill areas.
