Residents affected by recent severe weather will be able to drop off green waste for free at all of Council’s Resource Recovery Centres until 31 December.
Council’s Resource Recovery Centres are open between 6.30am-5.45pm and are at the following locations.
- Nudgee Beach: 1372 Nudgee Road
- Willawong: 360 Sherbrooke Road
- Ferny Grove: 101 Upper Kedron Road
- Chandler: 728 Tilley Road (opposite the Sleeman Sports Complex).
Please note the following items will not be acceptedas part of the free drop-off:
- kitchen waste, including fruit and vegetable scraps
- animal droppings
- plastic, paper and glass recycling
- general waste.
