Permanent change to Brisbane River navigation channel height at Kangaroo Point Green Bridge

There will be a navigation channel height clearance change under the Kangaroo Point Green Bridge from Wednesday 20 March 2024.

The navigation channel will be realigned towards the middle of the river and a temporary clearance height of 12.3 metres will be implemented during construction for vessels travelling under the bridge.

Marine construction works for the bridge will continue across the Brisbane River.

The final clearance height for vessels upon completion will be 12.7m.

River users are reminded to follow the safety advice provided by Maritime Safety Queensland and remain within the navigation channel when travelling through the marine construction zone.
