Adelaide Street, between George Street and Albert Street, in Brisbane CBD will have temporary overnight changes from Sunday 18 February until late 2024 for Brisbane Metro works.
Bus stops between George Street and Albert Street will temporarily close between 7pm to 5am, Sunday to Thursday. These stops will be relocated to alternative stops on Adelaide Street and there will be signage in place to assist. All other bus stops will remain open.
Bus users may experience longer journey times. We encourage customers to plan their journey ahead of time and download the My Translink app for real-time information on bus services.
Temporary overnight lane closures and footpath closures will occur during the works. Detours will be in place with signage and traffic controls to assist motorists and pedestrians through the area.
Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times during open hours.
