North Brisbane Bikeway - Advisory Cycle Lanes video support information

This provides supporting information for bike riders on how a green street option – Advisory Cycle Lanes, works in practice as part of the North Brisbane Bikeway: Price Street to Kedron Brook project.

The video follows the journey of bike riders.

The video starts by seeing a road divided into three lanes with cars parked on either side of the road. The video then follows the bike rider on the left lane and a car driving past the bike rider in the middle lane. The video then sees a car approaching the bike rider in the middle lane and moving behind the rider until the vehicle travelling in the opposite direction passes the rider. The final scene shows the vehicle that is behind the rider, safely indicating to the middle lane to drive past the rider in the central traffic lane.
