Sign up for our four-week Business Recycling Challenge

Sign up for our four week Business Recycling Challenge and get free:

  • expert business recycling advice
  • access to online tools and resources
  • ongoing support for your business
  • recognition for your business for its commitment to recycling.

What you need to do to register 

The first step is to complete our free online Business Waste Assessment Tool (BWAT). This will take you a few minutes and will ask you a few simple questions about your current waste services. BWAT will help you measure how much rubbish is being generated by your business and develop a customised waste management plan. This free online tool is designed to help small-to-medium scale businesses understand what is needed to improve or implement recycling.

While completing the BWAT tool, your business will be given the option to join Council's four week Business Recycling Challenge to guide you towards more sustainable waste and recycling practices.

How the challenge can help your business

All businesses that sign up for the challenge will receive free expert advice via phone or email, educational material, signage and stickers and other online resources.

During the challenge, we encourage your business to record your results and measure the impact of your changes.

Our Business Recycling Officer is there to support you achieve your goals through the challenge and beyond.

Be one of the first 300 to register and receive a free onsite consultation.

The first 300 businesses to sign up for the Business Recycling Challenge will also receive a free onsite consultation with the Business Recycling Officer. During this optional onsite consultation, our business recycling expert will audit your rubbish and recycling systems and tailor a waste minimisation program around your specific business needs.
