Transport and parking

Public transport

We recommend you use public transport to travel to and from Riverstage.

Use TransLink's Journey Planner to plan your trip by bus, train, ferry or foot. NOTE - The My TransLink app (available for Apple and Android devices) includes Journey Planner and is ideal for planning your route on-the-go.

The closest train station to Riverstage is South Bank Station. The nearest CityCat terminal is QUT ferry terminal.

Parking

No parking is available on site. Pay-for-parking options are available at inner city parking stations, South Bank and QUT parking facilities along Gardens Point Road. There is also limited metered parking along Alice Street.

Disabled parking is available at the rear of the The Gardens Club, City Botanic Gardens, approximately 50 metres from Riverstage.

There is a drop-off and pick-up area at Gardens Point Road behind the Queensland University of Technology Gardens Point campus. 

Visitor information

Food and drink

There are various food and drink outlets located at Riverstage.

No food or drink can be brought into the venue.

If you have special dietary requirements, email the Riverstage Venue Operations Manager.

Wheelchair access, seating and facilities

Riverstage is wheelchair accessible.

For reserved seating events, wheelchair accessible seating is located in the Gold Reserve seating category (subject to availability). For general admission seating and/or events,a wheelchair viewing deck is located at the top of the hill looking down on the stage. There is a wheelchair accessible toilet near this viewing deck.

To book wheelchair accessible seating, phone Ticketmaster on 136 100. 

Brisbane City Council honours the Queensland Government Companion Card, allowing free entry to Riverstage to anyone accompanying a person with a disability who requires attendant care support.

First aid

The first aid station for all events is located to the right of the stage.

Cloakroom

Prohibited items can be deposited in the cloakroom. Other items are not accepted.

Illegal items are confiscated.

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
