Transport impacts

Under Brisbane City Plan 2014, a Transport impact assessment (TIA) report will be required when a development proposal will have significant impacts on the external transport systems or the adjacent community.

The Transport, access, parking and servicing planning scheme policy includes a guideline with the purpose, content and design standards required in the preparation of a Transport impact assessment report.

A Transport impact assessment report, prepared by a traffic engineer who is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), that demonstrates how the proposed development achieves the outcomes of City Plan 2014 will assist in the development assessment process.

Please refer to Council’s technical expert guide which includes lodgement requirements for a Transport impact assessment report
