Project update
Works to upgrade Manly Road, between New Cleveland Road and Wondall Road in Tingalpa will now be undertaken in two stages, following the identification of additional water main works required for the project.
Stage one includes upgrading and widening the 330-metre section of shared path on the southern side of Manly Road, west of the sports park, and some landscaping of this area. With these works recently completed, the project team have demobilised from site and reinstated the temporary site laydown area.
Stage two of the project is anticipated to start in early 2021 and will include:
- watermain works
- completion of the remaining 170-metre section to New Cleveland Road.
Council is committed to keeping the local community informed and will provide further notification about the timing of these works in the new year.
