Construction impacts
Construction is scheduled to commence mid-April 2024 and will be completed by June 2024, weather and site conditions permitting. The majority of works will occur at night between Sunday to Thursday, 7pm to 5am, when traffic volumes are lowest to ensure the safety of workers and road users and reduce impact to the local community. Every effort will be made to complete particularly noisy works prior to 11pm, where possible.
Businesses and residents in close proximity to the works may experience:
increased noise, truck movements, vibration, dust and light from mobile light towers.
changed traffic conditions, including minor traffic delays, reduced speed limits, lane closures and detours.
temporary detours for people walking and riding.
