Supporting information

There is a shaded red area in the middle of the page that shows the work zone. To the north of this is another shaded red area to show a second works zone.

On the west is a sign that says Brisbane City via service road with an arrow pointing to the north. There are two signs further to the north that say left lane must turn left and right lane must turn right.

There are arrows shaded bright yellow and pink that demonstrate the direction of travel. The yellow arrows are traveling towards city bound and the pink arrows are travelling towards south bound.

There is a sign that says Residential access from Nelson Parade to Moggill Road closed. Further to the east at the temporary traffic signals is a sign that says right turn only to Coonan Street

How might this work impact me?

Traffic changes

  • If you are heading towards Brisbane City (inbound) you must keep left after Station Road intersection.
  • If you are planning to turn right into Coonan Street you must keep right after Station Road intersection.
  • You will no longer be able to turn left towards the city at the temporary signalised intersection.
  • Anyone who misses the turn off to the city will be able to U-turn at Belgrave Road and Allwood Street.
  • For residents of the service road previously using Nelson Parade, access will now be via Moggill Road.
  • There will be reduced speed limits, lane closures, changes to traffic flow and short-term traffic disruptions.

Construction impacts

  • Noise, dust and vibration: noise and possible dust and vibration may be experienced from the construction activities.
  • Temporary lighting: lighting towers are required to be used to light work areas at night to ensure worker safety.
